When Is It Time To Clean Your Carpets

Well, the EPA recommends cleaning your carpet every 6 months to greatly improve the indoor air quality of your home...not to mention to keep your carpets looking clean and feeling clean. There is so much more going on in your carpet than what you can see on the surface.

If your carpets look like they need to be cleaned...you've waited too long....it's not too late but you did wait a little too long.
Your carpets should be on a maintenance schedule. Every six months is a good time line. If you feel you need it done more often because of kids and pets? It's ok, go ahead...get them clean.
With new technology you can clean your carpet every month and it won't harm them much more than vacuming every day.

Here are 3 questions to ask your self if you're not sure if you need a deep carpet cleaning

1. Do you have pets? If so, urine and even feces can build up in your carpet fibers -- the same fibers that you sit on and your child plays on.

2. Do you have white or light rugs? If your carpeting color is starting to look more brown than beige, a good deep-cleaning can restore them to like-new condition.

3. Are your carpets in high-traffic areas? Rooms that get lots of foot traffic -- like hallways, entryways and family rooms -- can speed up staining and wear.

If you answered yes to any of the above, it's time to deep clean!
