Would You Like Us To Clean Under Your Beds?

Beds are very hard to move around in a bedroom. There tends to not be enough room to move the bed from side to side and still clean the entire area. I'll be honest, most of our customers don't want us to move furniture at all..."Just clean the open areas".
But if you had a magic wand and could get all the furniture out of the house and then use that same magic wand to get it back in? Well, you could probably use that same magic wand to clean your carpets. Get the idea? lol
Anyway, here is a good way to prep your bedrooms before we get to your home to clean your carpets.
This isn't my idea but it's a pretty good one.
Simple yet effective.
Like I always say...

When Is It Time To Clean Your Carpets

Well, the EPA recommends cleaning your carpet every 6 months to greatly improve the indoor air quality of your home...not to mention to keep your carpets looking clean and feeling clean. There is so much more going on in your carpet than what you can see on the surface.

If your carpets look like they need to be cleaned...you've waited too long....it's not too late but you did wait a little too long.
Your carpets should be on a maintenance schedule. Every six months is a good time line. If you feel you need it done more often because of kids and pets? It's ok, go ahead...get them clean.
With new technology you can clean your carpet every month and it won't harm them much more than vacuming every day.

Here are 3 questions to ask your self if you're not sure if you need a deep carpet cleaning

1. Do you have pets? If so, urine and even feces can build up in your carpet fibers -- the same fibers that you sit on and your child plays on.

2. Do you have white or light rugs? If your carpeting color is starting to look more brown than beige, a good deep-cleaning can restore them to like-new condition.

3. Are your carpets in high-traffic areas? Rooms that get lots of foot traffic -- like hallways, entryways and family rooms -- can speed up staining and wear.

If you answered yes to any of the above, it's time to deep clean!

Here's a good maintenance plan to get on

Your Carpeting, Brought to You by TV

Your Carpeting, Brought to You by TV

Home carpeting was long associated with European aristocracy until it first gained acceptance from American homes thanks to the ground-breaking television program All in the Family, starring Carroll O’Conner as lovable bigot Archie Bunker. The show broke numerous taboos involving racism, homophobia, and floor coverings. The Bunkers were the first TV family to proudly display a carpeted floor, and carpets slowly started making their way into our homes.

The Bunkers’ carpets, like their opinions on the delicate social issues of the day, were no mere set dressing, and often became the focus of popular episodes. For instance, more Americans watched the 1978 episode “My Carpet for My Country,” in which Meathead tries to stop the Vietnam War, than were alive at the time. Thanks to All in the Family, carpets today are just as common in homes as the sound of a flushing toilet on network TV.
